Buying a property here in Turkey is relativly easy.  We recommend that you use a reputable and experienced agent, who will advise you from, your initial enquiry, to a complete aftersales service.

Requirements for purchasing land or property:

·                     Passport

·                     Photographs (4)

·                     10% deposit

·                     Tax number-(obtainable from local tax office)

As with any property purchase, there are extra costs to pay. As a rule of thumb set aside 7% of the overall purchase price. This will include: property purchasing tax, agency commission fees, legal fees, notary fees, translator fees, furnishings, property maintenance fees, utility connections.

We also advise opening a Turkisk bank account which is easier for money transfers, but this is optional.
